The £1.3 million redevelopment of Henbury Court Primary School at Trevelyan Walk, Bristol was completed by the LEP in early 2009, providing a large new extension and refurbished classrooms.

The project has enabled all the Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils to be together under one roof for the first time – previously the Key Stages were split between two buildings.

Reorganisation of the building has also created space for a new Children’s Centre.

The new extension provides a modern entrance and reception area, rooms for small group work, a staff work room, special needs room and new offices. Remodeling and refurbishment of other areas have also improved teaching areas and provided a new resources room, lift and improved playground.
